Cost depends on scope, not just platform choice. A single-platform app with basic login and data entry sits at the low end. Add real-time features, payment processing, or integration with an existing ERP or CRM system, and the cost moves up accordingly, mainly because of the extra integration testing those connections require. Rather than quote a market-wide range that doesn’t reflect any specific project, we scope discovery, MVP, and full-build phases separately so you see what’s driving the number.
Native (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android) makes sense when performance, deep device access, or long-term scalability matter more than launch speed, which is common for enterprise apps with heavy backend integration. Cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native make sense when getting to both app stores quickly with one codebase matters more than squeezing out the last bit of platform-specific performance. Most consumer apps with straightforward feature sets do fine cross-platform; most apps handling sensitive data or complex device integration do better native.

Post-launch support is scoped as part of the original proposal, covering bug fixes, security patches, OS-version compatibility updates, and a defined response-time commitment, rather than an open-ended promise to “be around if you need us.” How long that support runs and what it covers depends on the plan you choose at the start of the project.
